Dropping pennies (in a wishing well)

she takes me to places I've never been
down trails of sun light far and away
over bridges of time to that special place
she knows how to make it shine.

dropping pennies into a wishing well
starring into the sky
stepping into shadows
watching wild horses fly.

reach out and touch the northern lights
hold the morning in your hands
for tonight you are going to stay with me
she said tonight you are going to stay with me.

she moves just like the sunset
a burning vision that she can't hide
and I see her moving inside my hungry mind.

dropping pennies in a wishing well
waiting on time
following shadows
watching wild horses fly.

she moves just like the sunset
she knows how to make it shine
and she said
tonight you are going to stay with me.

I'm starring into the sky.

    I always think in song when I write..could be the wrong idea for poetry
