Afterward I miss falling asleep for just minutes before the sound of parading UEFA fans and their vuvuzelas woke us up at 3 in the morning every morning, because the rude awakening was always tempered by a dawning realization that I was there awake in my foreign bed that felt like home, drunk and smiling with my best friend beside me, hours from seeing the best live band in the world and doing it all over again, and I was happy.

    being with friends just makes the show a lot more enjoyable, allows you to be nerdy with each other all day, share stupid conversations...I actually really liked most of the time I spent waiting for shows.
    please come back to europe next year? :cry:

    Berlin 2 was definitely my favorite show of the tour (even though I was on Stones side) because I was with great friends. When looking back at the tour I think of that just as much as I think of being front row center at Amsterdam 2 (Where I met many people for the first time that were with me for Berlin 2...).
    I would much rather que all day for a GA show than have front row seats.

    whoa, we even made up for being on stone's side...you must really enjoy our company.. ;):D

    Well Kathi, what can I say. I guess I am officially elderly :mrgreen: (but just so we are clear, next time Mike's side!)

    too right Rafie....was my first time "in the Q" and u know what happened after that ;) The queuing and chatting with ppl was the highlight of the whole tour for me...never done it b4 and now I miss everyone and the whole atmosphere. Till next time!!

    I arrived at Fiasco around 6:30pm, had to spend my entire day at Central station Lost and Found, Australian consulate, stopped for a while at the queue to update people and to get the wristband and ticket for my ticket buddy, then central police station, then finally to Fiasco.

    Fiasco... couldn't have found a more aptly named pre and post-gig hangout!

    So, as I've just put up on facebook I'M HOME & to everyone I stayed with, hung out with, caught up with, met, ate with, drunk with, went sightseeing with, sat around on pavements with, queued with, got crushed in front rows of concerts with.........................THANK-YOU! I had an AMAZING month & I hope to see you all again ASAP!! :D 8-)
