I caught the last bits on camera... You might want to turn down your speakers volume before clicking the link. it's super loud, but the sound is okay.

I just uploaded it so maybe you've got to wait about 15 minutes before you can watch it.

OMG! Everthing on this thread is just unreal. Berlin was always gonna be a blast. For me Down and Sad in one show is unreal. Oceans opener, Mother...these guys are unbelievable.

Best show I have ever been to.. I thought Grand Rapids 06 would be hard to top.. TOPPED!!

Leeze and I just had a blast.. Starting with X.. She is an amazing dance partner!!

The set was pure magic!! The people we were surrounded by were awesome!! The two guys from New York in front of us (major bromance by the way ;) ) equaled ours and the bands intensity.. and, the one guy just kept showing up with more beer!! :D I got to meet Conman, finally!! The couple from Chicago were great too!! I really enjoyed how, the more we lost our minds, the people around us felt free to loose theirs as well.. by the 1st encore, I was hugging and sharing the beers with complete strangers :D .. I didn't speak their langauge, but the common ground we found was badass!!

Amazing, life changing experience from start to finish..

Both shows and everything surounding them were just great to me actually.. I met soooooo many great folks.. to many to list, but you know who you are.. Thank you everyone who took part in the Berlin shows.. You all made it an adventure I will NEVER forget..

Just got back to UK from Berlin...

Don't always post a review -- these 2 shows were the last of the 6 my wife and I have done this tour... (Manchester / Amsterdam and Berlin)..

Great great shows - and especially emotional for me... On Wednesday at around 14.00 I got a call from my Mum in England to let me know that my Uncle had passed away... We were standing at the Angel (in the middle of that huge roundabout) -- Put me in a very strange mood as we were having an absolutely amazing time, my wife is German and I proposed to her the day before Wulheide 2 Years ago so the whole trip was a celebration..

Anyhow, I wondered how it would be for the 2 shows - what they would open with etc...

I know this is Show 2 but just wanted to say that from Long Road (where I cried a little to myself) on Wednesday to the celebration of RITFW close I was left yet again being blessed with everything PJ always remind me of...Life is prescious, and fun & crazy and emotional...But most of all, we are so lucky to be here, and especially lucky to be able to know , love and follow PJ!!!!!!

So for Show 2 --- to get Oceans as an opener , being quite far from home when needed - then to get Breakerfall (first song I listened to when driving away from meeting my wife for the first time!!!) to get Sad , MOTHER .... The 4 songs I wanted sooooo much ---- well it was just pure magic...

I guess I'm pretty tired but it really felt , that as usual , on some other level, the music and the band create the perfect set / soundtrack to the best moments in my life!! Even when there is a lot of sadness going on!

Incredible night last night - brilliant song choices , superbly played.
It was good to see Eddie thinking of the crowd and looking to see who needed to behave, and it was even better right at the end when he said "Everyone's smiling!"... Me and the Mrs certainly were!!

Thanks PJ // And the PJ Fans -- Every show I'm always blown away by the love in those big rooms...

The crowd wasnt that bad on our (Mikes) side, imo. But def some crowdsurfing in the middle esp didnt really help for ppl to feel safe all the time. Ed was really concerned about safety both nights and kept telling us to go 3 steps back. Who does that??? Only PJ and Ed :) haha,in the end i thougt it was funny when he said CIao Italia, va fan culo. Hahhaha. Those italias at the front (this tours line police).
police? more like terrorists...they wrote numbers on their hands right after the first night to make sure they
could wander to the front line no matter how many people were there earlier...

This will be a combined fanview of both nights in Berlin..

first some stats: these were my 6th and 7th shows and despite no new album out since the last couple of times I saw them, I still got to see 15 songs for the first time! I'm now up to 199 seen songs with 92 of them being different.. that's pretty crazy I think (but also very typically Pearl Jam)

I went with my brother, as I always do, and these nights were the first time we had seated tickets (was too late on stading tix). We didn't sit for a moment both nights and did our absolute best to just ROCK OUT, but I do have to say that I missed the feeling of being in the pit..

I thought both night were great and the crowds were pretty damn amazing (as always in Berlin it seems). Highlights for me were Oceans, In My Tree, State of Love and Trust, RIFW, Indifference, RVM, Blood, Leash, jeremy, Immortality, Sad, Mother, Go, Not For You, Nothingman, Present Tense, Hard to Imagine, Come Back, Animal, Hail Hail, Long Road, Daugther/it's OK.. and the list goes on... and on! Can't fuckin' wait for the boots!

How often can you honestly say that you wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world at a certain time? It happens to me at every show!

See you in Copenhagen for #8!

wow! after amsterdam 1 & 2 and arras, i didn't think i'd be so fortunate to see them again playing so good with killer set lists. Until berlin came.

Only had tikets for the first night. Wanted to add Berlin 2 but girlfriend had an absolute veto ("enough is enough"). Only exception to be made if i would be in Berlin and meet one of the band members. So then me and my friend were walking under the Branderburger Gate tuesday night, where i saw... MIKE MCCREADY!!! he was really friendly, had a chat for a couple of minutes and took some photo's. So the second night was added!

First night had an incredible crowd, the singing, my god, never heard it before. Highlights were long road, faithful, in my tree, immortality, very disciplined public taking three steps back, indifference,...

Second night there were so many songs i never heard and really wanted to hear: sad, down, wasted reprise, come back,... what a night again!

Small remark. Now i know what the "shut up and listen" t-shirts are for: when you go to a concert that's all you need to do really. The second night there were people behind us who were chatting the whole time. I can't imagine they would be posting stuff like "saw oceans for the first time and it was really amazing", without actually have been LISTENing to the song. So to the babbling idiots: your chatter is louder than you think, you only see pearl jam for two hours, talk at home, live the dream, focus and listen.

By the way, i recorded both shows on my iPhone, they're pretty good actually, except for the chatter on show 2, anyone who wants them, send pm with an idea how i can share without upsetting the band, or let them fall in the hands of moneymaking bootleggers.

I'm usually somewhat positive in my reviews, so I'll try to change things up here and list all the the things that were WRONG with this show...

    Nothing... Absolutely Nothing.

    This show was f#%king PERFECT.
Beautiful, inspiring, and full of something special.

    My most grateful thanks.

This show could have gone either way. In the beginning, Ed seemed upset that his sound thing wasn't working and there were so many people who were passing out or had to just get out of the pit, which got Ed really concerned. And then at one point he was trying to get the security's attention to hand someone a pick, and none of the security guys looked at him and he got this really angry look in his eyes, like old Ed, and flicked the pick onto one of security guys' heads.

So, I was very happy that towards the end of the show, Ed seemed happy and at one point (might have been after Baba) he had this huge smile on his face as he looked around and said, "Everyone's smiling!" Definitely one of my favorite Ed moments.

Special thanks to Rafi for shielding me; I was up against the rail between Stone and Ed, and didn't feel the crowd all night.
 Told you at the beginning that I would take care of you

After night 1 my wife says to me "I got all the songs I wanted to hear. What are they going to do tomorrow?" My answer "They are going to do better". Glad they did not turn me into a liar

A few things though (sorry for the length  ):

    1) After seeing the crowd from my seat night 1 I went with my friends to Stones side (sorry Mike) because we thought it would be less rowdy. We were wrong. Who the fuck crowd surfs during present tense!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

    2) Standing second row with a great group of friends was an amazing experience. Thank you Kati, Jenny (got her flag on stage), Yamini, Matt and kasia for being there with me. You all have great souls (except for matt who has a few :D )

    3) My wife had second row seats on stone side so we were actually communicating during the show. Loved it.

    4) The security guys were HORRIBLE!!! People passing out and asking for water and they would not move there butts! One of them actually yelled at a girl in the front row telling her to "chill out" after yet another person had to be taken out. Glad that the 10C security were there to pick up the slack. You guys were amazing.

    5) Would it have been so hard for the O2 to put out fans facing the crowd along the security strip? There was NO air in there!

    6) As for the show, number 2 after Amsterdam 2 for me. Mother was an amazing surprise, come back was so emotional (we all started crying).... Everything really.

Great show and great ending for my tour, but I will not do Berlin again at the O2. The crowd was WAY to rough and the security WAY to lazy for me.

A fantastic night for sure. Had a great time with Bob and George (spelling?) from the Netherlands. Can't thank them enough for keeping me safe in the crowd and hoping they'll find me here so we can make contact as we didn't meet up again afterwards as planned.
