Question for NY State Fans - Ommegang Brewery
Has anyone been to a show at the Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown?
What is this venue like & why do they offer camping along with the tickets?
Thinking about doing the Bon Iver show there in September, but wanted some info on this place.
Any help would be appreciated!!! :ugeek:

The camping was ok, they had grounds big enough to host everyone (can't remember how many people) but the bathroom situation was not good. Porter johns and just one real toilet with plumbing and running water in their brewery shop area, I think. Can't remember for the life of me how we showered. May have actually needed to drive to a sports center. But it's been a few years, so maybe they have better facilities now.
There are also hotels close by. Not walkable but 5-10 mins drive. And don't forget to visit the baseball hall of fame. The actual town is also cute
Oh and yummy beer. We got $1-$2 pints for our event party. Hope this helps!
If you can spend an extra day or two, it's totally worth it. Baseball Hall of Fame, James Fenimore Cooper Museum, and Lake Otsego are all within a half mile or less of each other. Really cool little town.
I thought it was funny that when you go to buy tickets for an event here...
they give you a camping option!!
Will definitely be doing a hotel & the Baseball Hall of Fame while I'm there :ugeek:
