i'd guess all the left over empty seats...ie behind the stage.

i ended up behind the stage (sect 115 if i remember correctly) for one of the MSG shows a few years back, i was bummed, but they turned out to be fantastic seats!

can't say the same for festival seating.

    good luck you all.

I just called up the Adams Center to try to get some info, but they couldn't confirm or deny anything. They just said that they heard PJ is thinking of adding additional seats in restricted view areas and that a message was posted on the site, and recommended to just check back on PJ's site for any updates...so not really much help, but at least it's something.

How about making these 10C only seats so some of us who didn't get picked in the lotto and got shut out on the public onsale can get another shot (and the vultures on the auction sites won't make out again) :D

Everything posted about ticket sales so far has them at 5100 seats, give or take. But the Adams Center can do 7000 seats plus, if they sell tickets beside and behind the stage. They've done it before, when PJ played there in 2003. That means there might be another 2000 tickets, give or take, if they open it up.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

Do you think 2000 10c members got shut out?

Not necessarily, but if there's 2000 extra tickets, buying 2 each would only make it 1000 people. Even with only 1/4 of the 2000 extras, that would be 250 pairs that they would probably not have any trouble selling here. Either way, if those 2000 tickets go on sale to the general public, at least half of them will probably end up on Stub Hub or ebay within the hour.

yeah, but it's way to early to be buying tix on the second hand market. they always list with a crazy high price, and then prices fall. buying now is not smart unless you don't care.

although looking at the price increase since last week....hole crap....they were high to begin with, not they are thru the roof.

My suggestion would be to hold off. At least until I can get mine into the mix.

Agreed, but I dont see those prices softening much until right before the show. PJ should make half those extra's, fanclub tickets. Of give some people that got shut out opportunity to buy them.

Just talked to someone at GrizTix (making sure that my Shinedown tickets were actually cancelled since it is still showing up on my card). The lady said that tickets were going to be released this week but now they are delaying it. She mentioned September but said to keep checking the PJ website.

so basically it's the next Tuesday in September.

Good, that's a plenty of time for me to lose interest in it... :fp:

a lot of it depends on this so-called ticket release that we need to stay tuned for.

I have noticed that almost all the tickets that have gone up for sale are in Sec 204-208 and Floor. There are the sections behind the stage that I assumed haven't been sold yet (Sec 212-217). What about the side stage sections (201,211,202,210). I haven't seen any of these up on any of the scalper sites. If you look at the seating map that would be about 1/3 of the seated tickets (give or take). Probably reading too much into it and some of the seats of course are for the 10 club (didn't win the lottery :( ).
