Europe Set List Runners - How about this idea

OK, we've been working on a phone app which will do this with steriods. SnapReplay for Android & iPhone. At the moment this is still a prototype, but is working.

Essentially, you can instantly upload photos and text from your phone to a live stream on the snapreplay site and others can watch live in real time.

To do this, download the free app, once set up, select the concert from the event list -
You can select the event and start taking pics 6 hours before the scheduled event start time - they which is set at 6:30pm on the day of the show. Each photo or text you send will then display live on that Event's live stream. All users contribute to the same stream - so even if you contribute one photo (or a hundred) they will all appear in real time order with all other pics. After the event the pics are archived and you can check in and see all pics and relive the show. Also, they are saved to your photoroll so using snap doesn't stop you keeping your own photos. Would be cool to get as many people going to the Europe shows to take a few pics using SnapReplay and lets see if we can create something really cool for those not there.

Those not at the shows can watch by opening the event page on the SnapReplay site.

    This looks great, but why not let us post pictures before 6:30 pm? Would be cool to get more of the atmosphere before the gig starts.

    Well the pre-shows start around lunch for Manc (and there's a pre-party on Tuesday night)... Maybe 1pm ish? You can get a nice build up then...

    The system is set up with a default 6 hour pre and post event window where you can select the event and then start contributing. But the countdown will still continue as normal.

    So snap and text away at the preshow events :)

    We have noticed an issue with iphone that is caused by poor/congested 3g connections where images get stuck in the queue. We've solved it in Android, but the iphone fix is still awaiting approval in the itunes store. Sobest not to snap too many pics at once - give a good window between pics.

    The Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam had its first show ever this sunday. All the reviewers are very positive apart from one thing: Hardly any mobileconnection. Not even to call or text....
