slug420 wrote:just wanted to share....according to my research if you are looking for a hotel one of the best options might be the holiday inn downtown. It has a free airport shuttle and is within walking distance to the Adams Center. Rooms appear to be ~146/nt online as the best price (like 157 with taxes)..I called the front desk and was told 159 is their best rate (not sure if that was with or without tax) and AAA would get you 5 bucks off.
I was able to get a room there on priceline for 105 (120 including fees) which is still a lot but I think its a decent deal for a what should be a really convenient option. I was denied at a bid for 95 and went to 105..so you might be able to save 5 more bucks and bid 100.
My buddy and I just booked the Motel 6 for about $275 total for 4 nights, and you can cancel up to the day before....like $59 a night pre tax for two king beds. I know it's not fancy, but it's cheap and pretty close from what I can tell. I'm curious where else people are staying as I'd really like to be "where the action is"!!!95' - 7/9

101 days! :(
can't it be like next week?0 -
I'm staying at the Hawthorn Suites, Friday - Tuesday. Worked out to be just over $100/night. It's a ways away from the venue, but it is across the street from Big Sky Brewing.0

Used points to book at the HGI. Hopefully cabs are easy to get. This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

PJ_Soul wrote:I'm booked at the Motel 6 as well. Great deal. 3 nights for $157, 2 queens with a mini kitchen. A few others have posted saying they've booked there too, so I think it's going to be pretty full of us folks. It's 1.1 miles from the university apparently (not sure how big the campus is though... could be farther to the actual venue. Either way, it's pretty close, and to downtown; definitely still stumbling distance if you set your mind to it and don't fall into the river
).
Well hopefully there will be a 3 a.m. (or whatever time the bars close in MT) joint stumble in our future!95' - 7/9

My sister and I are staying at the Hutchins Hostel downtown. I might find out that I'm too old to stay in a hostel and enjoy it, but it looks like a neat little place. I hope it fills with PJ fans! It is a great location - right in the middle of downtown and near the river plus within walking distance to the venue. We figured we'd just be there to sleep, so we don't mind roughing it a bit for $27/night. You can cancel up until 11am the morning of your reservation. I'm coming in from Oklahoma, so that was perfect for me. If it works out, we're going to try to get up to Glacier National Park either before or after the concert so the flexibility sounds great to me!
I know I was born and I know that I'll die.
The in between is mine.

My friend and I plan on staying at the Hutchins Hostel as well! I've read some great reviews of the place, and have always been interested in that sort of thing! It's about a 30 minute walk to the venue which isn't that bad at all!!7/15/2011 - Benoroya Hall - (Eddie Vedder Solo) - Seattle, WA
