So as my title says it ; "Sitting or Standing?"
I can't imagine myself sitting during a pearl jam gig! I've to stay, jump and dance. I need this feeling to stad in the crowd, to be a part of it!
What about you?

Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

I'm gonna try for all standing, hopefully all 10c.
But I've been to 3 PJ gigs standing, and have 2 PJ gigs standing coming up, so no problem if I have to sit at a few shows.Paul

But you won't be sitting. Once the jam begins everyone will stand up but you will have the added bonus of standing above the floor. I saw Foo Fighters at Earl's court in seats and it was great. It's nice to be able to sit when the band aren't playing too...during the support bands if they're shit or during the bit before the encore. And you can leave to go to the loo and come back to an empty chair!0

most shows in the US (if not all) are seated, and they still rock
in 2006 I did a few concerts and Verona was one of them .. seating .. well, I was 2nd row and as soon as they came on stage everyone stood up and screamed, shouted, danced, ... gave everything we got
trust me, seating isn't at bad as it sounds .. I like it moreThis land is mine, this land is free, I'll do what I want but irresponsibly

I had sitting seats for Paris last year, and had an amazing view, no reason why you can jump and stuff still, although when Rockin in the Free World started playing I jumped and cut my shin on the seat in front pretty good, I have a scar from it lolPearl Jam - London Astoria 20/4/06....One hell of a night
Reading 2006 - WOOOOW!!!!!
Paris 2006 - Fucking amazing
Wembley 20070 -

Both were good for different reasons. Sometimes it's fun to jump around, sometimes it's fun to be able to concentrate on the music without being hit in the head by a crowdsurfer.Paul
