Can anyone advise a decent Stockholm and Oslo hotel please? I was thinking of just one night in Oslo then going the airport for four hours after the gig as it seems a waste of money paying for a room for such a short time when my flight to copenhagen is 6.10am!
Look into Park Inn by Radisson for Oslo. Not a full service hotel but I remember it being the cheapest hotel option I could find that was close to the venue. Radisson Blu Plaza is right by the venue but more pricey. You can get that for USD 150/night if you do Advance Purchase

I was advised by a local to stay in the Sodermalm area..I'm probably doing Clarion Stockholm :)
I was looking at Södermalm too but was totally unable to make a choice because of the many options
Ended up opting for convenience and closeness to the railway station rather that area, which I think I'll appreciate when the time comes, after two tough weeks of PJ-travelling.
Went with the Scandic Grand Central, which is probably really boring ;)
Decided against the hotel that Dimi suggested 'cos it was more expensive as I'm travelling on my own and I HAVE to have a window in my room.
I will seriously never EVER get out of bed if I don't have a window in my room :fp:
window??i need only mirrors on the ceiling in my room.. 8-)
    Dirty bugger

Ok I lied. Totally mixing up my hotels, I think Park Inn is actually a full service hotel. Oops. But still look into it, it was on the cheaper side, I definitely am not mistaken on that :D

How the fak are people doing Berlin to Stockholm?! I'm thinking of flying but it's $$ and then getting to the airport from the centre is a bit of a pain.

Then I thought of the overnight train but why stop in Malmao :-S

My wife and I are flying, with norweigian, about 122 euros each but worth it to save time, norweigian air was the cheapest carrier we could find, we are flying between all the cities, the cost isn't too bad and you save boatloads of time.

Ibsens (Copenhagen) is such a nice little hotel in such a nice area and street. Even the 15 minute walk to the venue is nice. Good choice - You will not be disappointed.
