Not only are they airing it, but here's the write-up:

    Reading and Leeds Festival 2006

    Sun 27 Aug, 11:20 pm - 12:50 am 90mins

It's the final day of the Reading and Leeds Festivals and BBC TWO has all the highlights from Sunday's action and indeed from the whole weekend.

Over an hour and a half, Jo Whiley and Zane Lowe offer up the highlights from Sunday from both the Reading and Leeds Festivals including music from headliners Pearl Jam, Placebo, Slayer, My Chemical Romance and Hot Chip at Reading. And beaming down the line from the NME/Radio 1 stage in Leeds, the best of The Raconteurs, Coheed and Cambria, The Automatic, Jet and much, much more.

Damn my US Cable Co. for not carrying BBC2!!

    Red Button:
Bands you can watch on Sunday night will include:

Be Your Own Pet, Less Than Jake, Bullet For My Valentine, The Automatic, Jet, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Lethal Bizzle, Hot Chip, The Raconteurs, Pearl Jam, Placebo, The Raconteurs.

won't be much about PJ though, they seem concentrate teh coverage to Reading Main Stage and Leeds NME/Carling Stages on each day...so PJ day wil be Sunday.

I dunno, based on PJ being named first on those write-ups, I'd have to guess they WILL be covered fairly. Just a guess.

    oh my god!!

the daily record (scotlands second biggest selling newspaper) has a picture of Pearl Jam on the tv listings page and a wee paragraph about the leeds/reading festivals

'You're in for a treat as the best rock band in the world - Pearl Jam - come to the uk for a rare gig, covered here as part of this weekends Leeds/Reading festival.
