    randalls island is doing shows again too? that be a better venue for standing and make people pay, what i dont like with free shows is you get a bunch of people probably showing up that are maybe a little interested in the show but not big time like if you paid, also ny city and free show doesnt sound that great together even though there is cops everywhere

    :lol: please everyone. The liberals and David Dinkins have been out for almost 2 decades. Rudy cleaned everything up and Bloomy hasn't fully fd it up yet. NYC is probably one of the safest big cities and they know how to do big events. How many parades of champions down the Canyon of Heroes have there been in the last 10 years with Millions of people? How many incidents like Vancouver losing the Stanley Cup have you heard? You're perfectly safe (of course unless you act like a rube, in which case you deserve all you get.). NYC has the best police force in the world.

    But, once again - we suck! Stay away! :ugeek:

    Just thought I'd add...I've been hearing these PJ/Foo rumors from other places other than here. I also have a source of my own that said Foo Fighters are a definite go for Central Park on 9/29. They haven't confirmed PJ but they did say that both of the bands and promoters are trying to make it happen. I consider my source very reliable. So if nothing else, Foo Fighters outside in Central Park in the beginning of Fall? Sounds good to me! :mrgreen:

    Thinking about making a trip out there in the Fall to visit a friend and Bridge School would fit perfectly in my schedule.

    Hey i'm not saying you got it wrong and i do appreciate you coming here and telling us that but it goes to show how info when it gets passed from person to person can be wrong ...I really hope your info turns out to be correct ...

    Sorry Jose, I took your post the wrong way-my bad!! Yea I know info can get twisted around and I know 100 pacer squashed this one. I even asked my buddies again after reading 100pacers post to make sure and all 3 said yes definitely they were told PJ AND the foos. I think Liliny81 said she heard that they were still in talks so who knows whats going to happen.
