Based on what I've heard, a 9/29 date in Central Park wouldn't be feasible for PJ from a logistical standpoint.

    what is interfering?
    do you know?

Just passing along the info I heard today-along with UPSDan hearing the same thing. Two different sources. You could be right too-what did you hear that would make this not happen?? Like I said these guys wouldn't lie to me about the date. They are huge music fans like us too.

All I take from this is that they have another concert somewhere close to that date. Maybe something on the west coast.

Depends if the weather wants to cooperate or not!! Also, in 2003, DMB played their Great Lawn Central Park show in front of 121,000 people on 9/24.

Just heard September 29th from my buddies working security. Pearl Jam and the Foos. UPSDAN have you heard the same.
This is getting too much for me to handle. PJ and Foos on one bill?? My head might explode that night.

I know this isn't confirmed at all and I can't stop thinking of the possibility of this show happening. I keep thinking of a crazy jam at the end of the night, during PJ's set, with both bands on the stage and jamming out to "Rockin' In the Free World".

I think someone should call and ask to apply for a permit that day and see if it is booked. I would but I am at work.

Not my preferred way of seeing PJ, but a blowout show with the foos in the park would be fantastic and a ton of fun.
    Big bold and free indeed!

The weather for the DMB show was perfect. I still don't see this show happening in Central Park. Makes no sense on so many levels.

The one day of the year that I already have a commitment!
I've never before hoped a show rumor wouldn't be true, but ...

    This is bumming me out.

This show would be incredible, obviously.. but there are so many things that would go wrong...

#1... FREE... Foo fighters and PJ .. at a free show... ummm

#2 Central Park (although amazing.. with it being free.. i would expect there to be at least 250-400k people.. like.. seriously)

If DMB can draw 121k people... the amount of people a free foo and pj show would be absolutely staggering. Can Central Park even handle the inflow and outflow of the expected amount of people?

hopefully... 10C and Foo fan members get early access or special access admission.. because these are the people that should be front at any show.. let alone a free show where the biggest fans would be pushed to the back, most likely.

    2010: MSG Night 1 and Night 2
2011: Eddie Vedder Solo in Philly, PJ20 Alpine Valley Day 1 and Day 2.
    2012: Berlin Night 1(7/4)
    2013: Wrigley Field, Philly 1 and 2

    Simon & Garfunkel had 500,000+
    Garth Brooks had 750,000+
