    Yea my fingers are crossed-till we get official word anything can happen. These guys have no reason to lie to me about the date so I think it's a good sign.

    Central Park! I really want to be at this one. PJ and Foos! I've been saving, so if it happens, I hope to be there.....this would be one NOT to miss.

    I hope this isnt just bullshit, because I have the perfect vacation planned....


    fly from seattle to nyc friday night get there 5:30 sat morning
    PJ saturday in central park
    Jets/9ers sunday
    yankees/sox monday
    fly home to seattle tuesday morning, get home 2:00 pm.
    only miss 2 days of work...........

    So...I'm assuming this would be a free show? I don't think I've ever heard of paying for a show in Central Park?! I've also been hearing the PJ/Foo Central Park rumor from other "sources" too. I really hope it's true! Perhaps I won't have to wait so long to pop my PJ cherry :lol:

    ^Trying to think myself if it'd be free or not. There are shows that are priced in Central Park, but they're mostly for shows that support SummerStage (I'm seeing Foster the People with The Kooks in Central Park later this month, paid for the ticket)

    Haven't been there since my near-death experience at Garth Brooks in the late 90s. I just don't recommend downing eight beers during a 60-minute train ride into NYC. And NEVER try to piss between cars of a moving train on the way home. And when you can't find the bathroom at Central Park, the people on the other side of the tree don't like when you piss on any side of the tree. :fp:

    i actually work with a guy who has a good friend who works central park shows and would know this type of info...

    i will get him on the case tomorrow and hopefully in a few months i will get on his little cart and driven to the front of the stage ;)

    hmmmmm...a one-off PJ/Foos show, POSSIBLY for free in Central Park, NYC in the fall. I think my decision has been made for me!

    Selfishly, I would prefer it not to be free, I think it changes the dynamic of the people who will be there.

    But of course I will still find a way to be there if it happens! :mrgreen::mrgreen:

    I really hope this is true-the Foos are another band that I really enjoy, so the chance to see them with my favorite band would be a dream come true!!! :D

    Too bad it's not up to me! I saw Lenny Kravitz at a free concert, I was standing behind two girls that were maybe 14, and they were just texting/tweeting/facebooking the whole time. And when they weren't doing, that, they were screeching, OMIGOD, THIS IS SO COOL. If that happened at a PJ show, I cannot be held responsible for my actions :lol::lol:

    Like I said, I'd still go, but I would need to set my expectations :) PJ and Foo Fighters would obviously still kill it.
