I felt the same way, this one hurt. The Beastie Boys were one of the most unique and entertaining artists out there, and to me the epitome of the word FUN in music form. MCA will be missed.

Original for sure very sad :(. I need to stop by the shop, grab Paul's Boutique on vinyl, go home & spin that shit loud while having some beers!!!! I suggest this to everyone that can do it today

Just did! At least the spinning the Paul's Boutique vinyl part. Their music has been in my life so long I couldn't believe they only had seven LPs! RIP MCA.

    RIP Nathaniel Hornblower!

Man it really sucks when a good one goes so young. As someone who also "grew up" with the beasties I am really sad.

Very very sad, he was far too young!
The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols
