Don't forget to check your local Starbucks stores tomorrow morning. Heard they will be available here in Canada. Most excellent! :D

And please, nobody buy coffee on this particular trip to Starbucks as they are still greedy evil corporate scum despite this cause :D

    Okie dokie.

Just picked up the CD at Starbucks-can't wait to hear Eddie's song again, and the others on the compilation too! :D

And no, I didn't pick up any coffee while I was there-almost got a pastry, but way too expensive.

Got mine too!! I however, was weak and bought a damn latte. I was doing such a good job too avoiding Starbucks. Nothing against the company, I just don't think they pull good espresso.

Great tune! I really like when he's real. He's real in this one. I'm sure that's his daughter in the beginning.
Here's a new demo called "in the fire":

Only $1 from every sale goes to charity? Yes, one is better than nothing, but that is such a small amount for an album promoting itself as a fundraiser.

Where'd you see that? My CD says, "All contributions from the sale of this CD go to the New Venture Fund, which currently serves as the fiscal sponsor for Every Mother Counts. The funds will be allocated to New Venture Fund's Every Mother Counts Project." I read that as all revenue from CD sales, less cost of producing the CD

Why do the magazines (Rolling Stones, SPIN) say that is must be Olivia in the background. Did anyone else see that recent video posted on the forum from the last Bridge School Benefit that shows Olivia by Ed's side as a Bridge student interviews him? She seems like a normal 6-year-old girl who's growing up and all. But the voice on Skipping that says "Check Check" is so baby-like child-speak. So, I'm just wondering if it's actually his younger daughter, Harper. (Now, I suppose some might try to say it's Olivia and was recorded a while back or some such thing.)

Not sure exactly. I saw an article last night. It must have been wrong.

I just read this "So $8 from the sale of each CD sold at participating Starbucks stores (at $12.95 retail) will be donated to CARE, in association with Every Mother Counts, to support maternal health care worldwide.

Phew! I was starting to get all indignant at being shamed into buying a latte if only $1 of the CD was going to charity. $8/CD to charity is awesome!!

If you can't find one @ your local Starbucks shop (USA) you can order one over @ http://www.starbucksstore.com/every-mot ... -and-books .

Many Canadian shops have them, not all of them. Sucks the .com site doesn't ship to Canada. Also the exclusive Starbucks release isn't available (what I've heard) outside USA/CDN. Hopefully that will change in the day's to come.

Going to get one on the way home assuming my local Starbucks has them... Anyone have a review of the rest of the album?
