    I think the movie was hilarious, but the companion album was just so-so. Definitely not the classic that their first was. That's definitely the longest necked phoenix I've ever seen.

    Saw them live back in 2006-2007 in Boston @ Orpheum Theatre. Awesome show and hilarious onstage! The supporting band they had with them was sick! Shame no Grohl though.

    Yeah, the first was a classic. Hard to come close with the second. Just hope this one is at least somewhere in between. Can't wait to hear the album.

    I know! I love the Tim Robbins scene so much. I love that he tells them to "come over here" so he can kill them :lol::lol:

    My sister and I saw Tenacious D on the Pick of Destiny Tour, and they had the intentionally horrible Neil Hamburger open the show, and it was bad. The crowd was HOSTILE! I have never seen a more pissed crowd, and he kept egging everyone on. The hissing and booing, oh my. HOSTILE. :? :lol: The D was awesome, however.

    I saw Neil Hamburger open up for Faith No More a few years ago. Yeah the guy was bad and not too many people liked him.
