    Would love for my first visit to NYC be seeing PJ at MSG & also catch a Rangers game while I'm there (if it was against the Leafs, it would be a dream weekend :D )

    Maybe the sound is good if you are right up front. In my experience the sound is so bad that I would skip every show here from now on except Pearl Jam.

    I hate to break it to you but it MSG is closed all summer. It goes dark as soon as the Knicks and Rangers finish and doesn't reopen till October. Same thing next year, so I wouldn't hold my breath for an MSG summer show.

    Yes, please! After the Ed rescheduling, this is my only shot in 2012 to see something PJ related (outside of Brad) - I'd like to see 2 nights at Jones Beach followed by 2 nights at MSG or NJ. The market demand in the NY area is too high for just a pair of shows ;)

    yea one of the guys just texted me. All 3 work for a security firm in NY that does concerts and they were told today of a PJ/Foos show in late September. I know I read these rumors all the time on here and take it with a grain of salt. But when I'm the one getting the info it's a little exciting!! They have no reason to lie to me about it plus there was already a rumor about it on here. Whether the show doesn't happen or not is another story but there is some concrete info with two different sources posting on here.

    whats with the central park thing? the festies?
    who does pj think they are..the Dead? (thats a GOOD thing)
    A band after my own heart...oh wait..they've already had that for 20+ years!

    I find it hard to believe - Central Park, but if you say so, I have no reason to doubt you (or your buddies)

    Does your buddy work CP security only? Or is there a chance it might be one of the other venues?

    And you are right, its hard to take these things seriously after all the false rumors in the past (and now)
