    Duff was from Seattle, part of the scene in the early 80's, then moved to LA and joined GNR.

    Duff actually became a very smart business man, earning a college degree in finance. He was always my favorite GNR member :mrgreen:

    As for Axl...what an assclown. His little attention-grabbing stunt with the Hall of Fame induction was pathetic. Seriously dude, go buy an 18-wheeler to carry your grudge and take a ride to Siberia. You won't be missed.

    I remember Slash complaining about how Axl loved Pearl Jam during the Illusion tours and how Slash didn't like them and that shift in music.

    That's not the reason why I take Axl's side in the Axl/Slash war but it helps. Slash is a dork. Axl hasn't exactly been a genius of any kind lately but at least he kept his pride and integrity.

    ?? Axl can't even arrive at his own concerts on time. He doesn't even always bother to show up at them at all. That doesn't look like integrity to me.

    maybe he wanted to tell his story. he keeps telling the Kurt Cobain story because he keeps being asked. show me one interview where HE's the one that brought it up.

    he's been in about 14 bands since he left GNR. I'm pretty sure he (and Slash) have moved on. The only one that keeps talking about GNR reunions is that loser Steven Adler.

    All these people dissing the former GnR members....name one rock star that couldn't easily be construed as a douche. Personal taste aside, they were a great band back in the day and anybody can't hear that doesn't know much about rock and roll music.

    Not saying any of them are, just saying that depending on your perception, most rock STARs could easily fall into douche category one way or another. I don't think any member of PJ outside of EV, falls into the rockstar category. Think about any rockstar with a name that most people recognize and they're gonna have some quirk or some part of their persona that people are gonna find annoying.

Categories
