    Worst version of this ever. Seriously. I have heard cover bands do better. Wolfmother sucks.

    I really like Wolfmother, but yeah, that was a rough version for sure. Couldn't even hold the timing of the verses together, voice sounded awful. I've heard other good versions with Wolfmother though, obviously this was an off night.

    Is it as bad as Corin Tucker from Sleater-Kinney doing it in Holmdel,NJ in 2003. Her voice makes me cringe and my dog run out of the room

    Just what I was thinking. Everytime I hear Sleater Kinney join the band on stage on the bootlegs my ears bleed

    The versions w/ Corin Tucker sound like a masterpiece compared to the one w/ Wolfmother.

    Just heard that version for the first time and posted on the pj radio thread. Just awful.

    Had to youtube the Ben Bridwell version immediately to ease the pain, that's how it's done!

    Band of Horses can do no wrong. He totally nails the vocals on that.

    I actually had to go back to listen to the wolfmother version and its ever worse second time round :lol::lol:
    I'm yet to see PJ do Hunger Strike live. If some knobhead from a crappy support band ruins it for me I'm gonna be livid.

    Yeah, this version is awful. When I first heard of how bad it was I expected him to not be hitting the high notes well or something. But, no... This guy is awful just singing the first verse.

    I'll take the awful Chester from the awful Linkin Park singing it with Cornell over this any day. That guy's version isn't all that bad. Hell, I really don't see anything wrong with Corin Tucker singing it, either.

    Cornell wasn't really on top of his game at Alpine either...I wouldn't say it was awful though.
