Hi everyone, I am about to bring in my first print, also with a show ticket, to be framed and I am looking for advice on best framing practices!

    for something like that, you probably need to go with a pro. any decent frame shop ought to be able to do about anything you can imagine.

    You can do something real nice with a couple pieces of mat board and clear photo corners. Mount the ticket on the black background for example (or whatever color). Then cut another matboard with an opening with the desired boarder width, exposing as much or little of the bottom color. You can also raise the top matboard up underneath with foam core. Just make sure the foamcore width is cut small enough not to been seen at an angle and big enough to support the mat within the "sandwich", so to speak. Any frame shop worth a damn will be able to create what I explained above for a fair price. The expense comes into acid free and preservation quality materials. Good Luck!
