Private Messages hanging in Outbox?

:?: Anyone have any idea why PM's would be hanging in my Outbox? One is from today, but one is from almost 2 months ago...I feel kind of crummy just now catching it, 'cause the older one was a PM thanking someone for a random PJ gift I received from them.

    just means they haven't been read yet.... the one from 2 months ago is odd, but not your fault
    I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

    So even if it was sent, but not read, it would still be in "Outbox" and not "Sent" folder? I know typically with e-mail, messages in "Outbox" haven't left the outgoing server. Do PM's on the forums not work the same?

    no the pms stay in the outbox until read and then move to sent messages.
    As an extention of this you can delete a message in your outbox and then the recipient will just get a message saying that you sent one but it has been deleted rather than the actual message itself
