It's an absolute must have for a big fan, and particularly for one who collects bootlegs. I read the book with my mp3 player attached to me and my computer by my side so that I could check out all the shows, events, songs, new articles, etc etc etc that the book references, or just to dig deeper into stuff the book touches on. I've never had so much reading a book in my life! ... and I LOVE books and read a lot of them, so that's saying something!
One complaint though. I find the layout and design pretty awful. I don't really care because the written content (and some of the photos of documents and hand written notes) are what I really care about. But seriously, the design and layout sucks. And I know there are thousands of way better photos they could have used. I don't get why they chose to use so many random, fuzzy, can't -see-anything photos.
library's are for losers. pfffft81 is now off the air

yeah, well I wanted to make sure the book didn't suck before buying.
(No but seriously, while I hardly ever borrow from the library because I never remember to return the books, o love the library. They do wonderful things for kids in the community. I even volunteer as an editor for the Vancouver friends of the library, and it's amazing what people don't know about the great things that libraries do in the community. I had NO idea until I volunteered. I was shocked, actually. Not only that they do so much, but also that no one knows what's going g on except for the people the library really helpsWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. just thought I would send some one in a mission
and I never find any typos because I am a very bad editor so if it is one I will be very happy...and if not I will feel very stupid for posting this
I think it is referring to Edie Brickell by what was said in the first paragraph
I could be wrong though...Great book Minneapolis 6/30/98 ** Chicago 5/16/06 ** St. Paul 6/27/06 ** Chicago 8/23/09 ** Chicago 8/24/09 ** Cleveland 5/9/10 ** Buffalo 5/10/10 ** Chicago 6/28/11 (E.V.) ** Chicago 6/29/11 (E.V.) ** Minneapolis 7/2/11 (E.V.) ** Alpine Valley 9/3/11 ** Alpine Valley 9/4/11 ** Tulsa 11/18/12 (E.V.) ** Tulsa 11/19/12 (E.V.)0 -

This book awesome! The best parts are when they talk about the making of each album. Lots of behind the scenes intel there. Stuff nobody would know unless they read the book.0

Finished reading it over the weekend (finally). Awesome, awesome book. Really cool to see the notes about the concerts you attended in the book. It really gave the reader the ability to connect with the material in a personal way.
