We like Kasabian here in Scotland....
Go and see this band in a small venue if you have the chance, they're pretty big in Europe now.

Seen Kasabian live a few times and they are one of the best live bands out there. If you get chance you should definitely check them out.
Playing Newcastle tomorrow night, but I just really couldn't afford to go :('F*** the pessimists. F*** 'em.' Eddie Vedder0 -
Closest they come to me is Seattle/Vancouver....although they are playing Atlanta in March, so if I'm there then, I could go.
I have been listening to these guys as a result of a thread on this board (might have even been the OP's post that got me started) and I like them a lot.

might have been meI bought an import (a few months before it came out in the us because i had heard the single Club Foot and i was going to see them). The opened up for a band called "The Music". Then the came back a few months later and headlined the same venue (ironically enough the TLA in philly). Got the set list from that show. Missed them the last time they were in town cuz i was moving that day, but saw them the following day at the Virgin Music Festival in Maryland

I love Kasabian live but their albums frustrate the hell out of me! I still think 'Kasabian' is amazing, but I hated 'Empire'. I really like 'West Rider...' but I just can't get into 'Velociraptor'. Maybe if they follow that pattern their 5th album will blow me away again!“Do not postpone happiness”

Yes, it was you. I was able to check easily just now and it was indeed you! I was mucking about in that best songs of 2011 thread over the weekend and listened to everything I'd not yet heard that was posted at the time and had a link included.
That "Days Are Forgotten" song kicks some major ass - awesome song. So then I starting listening to more on YouTube.
In the end, I have a couple of albums in my basket at Amazon.
So if you were wondering if it was worth it to take the time to post all those links....0 -

Saw Kasabian in Dallas and Austin during SXSW. Great live band, and they were suprisingly sweet and generous when I met them twice. Serge even gave me a ticket for the Austin show.
