    as much as i hate him..it is a shame....my team is gonna through it will marc staal....and i fear he will never be the same

    that being said....better to retire and lead a healthy life

    i love watching Crosby play just not against the Leafs and i don't know what to think of his latest set back, i hope he can get better because he is entertaining to watch.

    As much as I hate to say it, I completely agree. Hockey isn't everything, especially when you are only 24 and face serious serious mental problems later.

    Like this thread, sid didn't last very long. Such a shame he can't stay on the ice.

    Gotta figure he will still be able to make the canadian hockey hof for his olympic performance.

    while i am a flyers fan and not really a big Sid fan(still think he is the best player in the NHL), i will say that i think sidney has to change the way he plays cause he has had 3 concussion in 1 year. that is entering Eric Lindros and Marc savard area.

    Pretty happy Crosby is back for sure! Great game by the whole team. It was interesting seeing them fully healthy for the first time in a long time. And we lucked out a little due to the rangers having some pretty big scratches.

    I think sometimes there is only so much to say about a team. When you look at other team threads it ends up being basically one person posting pointless little things about their team. I post when others respond, or when something newsworthy happens. I don't usually post when there is nothing to say. Although I have been guilty of that.

    I was thinking about posting earlier about Crosby returning, but in the end I worried I would jinx it somehow.




    Disclaimer. I realize some teams have more than one person posting pointlessly. Sometimes they have two.

    Congrats on Crosby's return, glad to see him back for the soon to be playoff run. I cheer for the Pens in the playoffs cause my team hasn't been in the playoffs in 7yrs :oops:
