Nope, what you do is you take all the twin-size box springs, and stack them starting from the bottom of the stairs, and as you work your way up, you use the mattresses. That way you start with a couple of soft bounces, and you land in relative safety.
I used this with great success when babysitting.
It was the first, and last, time I was asked to babysit those children.15 years of sharks 06/30/08 (MA), 05/17/10 (Boston), 09/03/11 (Alpine Valley), 09/04/11 (Alpine Valley), 09/30/12 (Missoula), 07/19/13 (Wrigley), 10/15/13 (Worcester), 10/16/13 (Worcester), 10/25/13 (Hartford), 12/4/13 (Vancouver), 12/6/13 (Seattle), 6/26/14 (Berlin), 6/28/14 (Stockholm), 10/16/14 (Detroit)0 -

see, this is what's wrong with the world today. You shouldnt have been banned from babysitting these kids. It's the parents responsibility to supply you with helmets.

lmao
They actually have a study on kids hitting their heads on stairs?

wow. How many stupid and insignificant studies does their need to be to fill in the gaps between already pointless news businesses? 5/28/06, 6/27/08, 10/28/09, 5/18/10, 5/21/10

I say we outlaw stairs altogether. Elevators or padded ramps are the only options now, including leading into the home. We can't have kids shielded from the harsh reality of stairs inside the home and then expose them to concrete steps the moment they walk out the door. We probably ought to put some sort of padding on any curbs, too. Hav eyou ever seen a kid fall of a bike near a curb? It's not a pretty sight.0

laundry basket...you gotta hold the front end up, and lean back so you don't catch it on the first step...sheesh.
and there are less accidents involving stairs because they banned those baby walkers that kids seemed to always want to go down whilst being strapped into one...
I may or may not have personal experience with both...The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

yes...and it's not because I did the same thing conman did...I had a very inattentive parent. I took lots of tumbles down the stairs....or it was because she dropped me. :?The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
