Great article. Makes a lot of sense. Not sure what number is correct, but I think it brings up some great points.

    Good points indeed, and yes we have gone away from the representation that the founders intended.

    But I just can't imagine the amount of money that it would take to increase the number of representatives six fold (or whatever large increase is the correct number).

    Take away some of the ridiculous benefits that congress has given itself over the years, that should help.

    I realize there are plenty of hurdles and I don't know what the right number is, but it certainly highlights what has become a serious problem (one that I never really thought about) and something worth discussing and changing some way, IMO.
