So is the Mexico City "It's OK" different from the Monterrey "It's OK"? The sticky at the top of the forum says they tagged "It's OK" by Dead Moon on the end of Daughter.

The Mexico City one is way cooler than the Monterrey one. It's just like the one we all know and love only in Spanish.

    So you're to blame, eh?

Well, haven't heard the Monterrey version, but last night it was way cool, the crowd just went nuts with that.

I totally agree. The Mexico City version is exactly what we anticipated for years. I can't help but listen to it over and over again. It's unbelievably awesome the boys brought it back. I can die happy now. :D

  • Hey, does anyone have any opinions on which of the 3 Mexico shows the tag sounds the best? I'm trying to decide which of the shows to buy & a killer esta bien tag would sway me.

Which Mexico City show of all of them is the one you're referring to? I'm trying to decide which boot to get.

  • Ahhh ya know, there are no words to properly describe it. It really is what we've wanted to hear for years. It's only a tag but it translates to everyone and its so uplifting to sing it and to hear the Mexico version gives me chills.

I've gott bust out TB2K now and listen to it.

Here's my opinion on the It's Okay tags played during the SA tour.

Monterrey (Dec. 7) : They tagged It's Okay in Spanish for the first time in this show. However, there wasn't chord change and stuff, which makes the song quite unrecognizable.

Mexio City 1 (Dec. 9) : Tight. Such a true and perfect resurrection of It's Okay which gets us totally psyched. The crowd just goes nuts. Listening to it, you can imagine the huge vibe.

Mexio City 2 (Dec. 10) : I consider this one the best It's Okay EVER. It even tops off the Jones Beach 2 version. Even though either Mikey or Stoney makes a couple of mistakes, that's not a big deal here. Because the boys are on FIRE. There's this AWESOME jam near the end of the song. Ed literally screams his lung out. I can't even describe how great the song is. You just got to give it a shot.

EDIT: Overall, both the Mexico City versions are KILLER. If I had to choose only one, I'd go with Mexico City 2.
