Posters at Black Keys show

OK... so I'm a shameful music fan. I pretty much have only gone to Pearl Jam shows w/ a few exceptions all my life. I'm hitting up the Black Keys show in Philly in a few wks.

So...

For those of you in the know about such things, are poster sales at BK shows similar to those at PJ shows? Do I have to stand in line early and get them and carry them around like precious gold all show, or will there actually be enough to pick up after the show?

    I have seen some of the prints for the tour thus far and, I must say, they are awesome.

    In my experience at the Key's shows, there are usually plenty of posters. However, take that with a grain of salt because I have only been to two of their shows so far and both have been in Minneapolis so I don't know what it's like in other parts of the country. Either way, I'm confident in saying it's nowhere near the craziness that ensues at PJ shows over the posters. I have also been told that this year they are including poster tubes with purchase of a poster, so hopefully that is true.

    You gotta go early!
    All posters are limited and posters for most shows are S/N.
    Just like PJ posters; they are an instant collector's item.
    I have posters to both shows I have seen so far.
    Going again in Vancouver for the third time!

    Yes they are giving poster tubes with purchase, and I would get there early, they are huge right now, posters are selling out quick!

    I just wait and buy a copy from the artist a few weeks after the show. Unless it's EMEK, you should be able to buy one without problem. I look at the $11 shipping charge as a "Don't worry about it during the show, we'll send it to your place" fee...

    Thanks for the replies, all. I'm bumming a ride w/ some people, so I may not get a chance to get there early. Hopefully if I'm not there early enough, I can score one from the artist, but would prefer a show print.

    The went pretty fast in Cincy on opening night. I'd get one early if you must have one

    I wonder what "early" means... I'm at the mercy of others, so I won't be getting there til 7pm or so... I hope that's early enough!

    Do they have a limit? A friend of mine asked me to pick one up for her since she can't get there til after 8.

    All I can tell you is that they were still available around 7-7:30 in Cincy 8pm showtime), but were gone at the end of the show. Thankfully I scored a s/n copy from the artist after the fact. Not sure if it is limit 1 per person or not. Good luck.

    Dang! Just checked out some of the posters from this years shows. Tons of cool stuff, IMO. The Soto from France is sweet as hell! Really love the Cincy poster too.
