Another year older

Another birthday is coming and
I'm feeling it this time
thinking to myself: "So what's the vision for the next few decades?
What are you gonna do Miz Annie?
What are your plans?
Oh, do you have any?"
yes,
this is the right time to make some
You know, some grand plans!
these years have flown by and I
still feel like the same Me inside
even though the outside keeps changing
(I'll be kind and say I'm still growing!)
I remember old people telling me when I was in elementary school
that they felt essentially the same inside and
now that I'm old, I find it's completely true!

    Birthdays are to be celebrated, its better than being dead. :) But somehow its become bittersweet for me as well. As the years go by, I still feel 20 something but I'm not.

    Sometimes I think to myself - if I don't say anything and treat my day as every other day another year does not go by ( yeah right ) ;)

    Today I went on (2) walks. On my second walk I was heading home and my right hip started to hurt really bad, so I basically slowed down and limped my way back home. This has happened to me a few times this year and I panic just a little. Is old age starting to creep in. :?
