Neil Young - 1976, Glasgow Street Performance (Video)

this is so great. take a few minutes to check it out.
Oh my God! Watch this video of Neil Young busking, with a banjo and harmonica, in front of the Bank of Scotland in Glasgow in 1976. He plays one of his greatest songs, "The Old Laughing Lady," and still some silly Scot says he thinks it's "a lot of rubbish." Almost as good for the fashions and accents on the Glaswegian street as it is for the music.

    OMG i was soooo in love with Neil in '76 (and before) that I opted to walk the 4.5 miles home from school down a long lonely road on nice days just so i could have Neil in my ears for the entire afternoon.

    (my dad did not appreciate him in the house ;) )

    brings back sweet memories
