  • It was the beginning of the ticket problems, but in terms of hours spent refreshing it was a mere 5 hours or so instead of 8-10.

    I got tix after 4 hours of refreshing or so. Still don't know how that happened :lol:

    Wow. I had a (very kind) friend get them for me while I was at a Phillies game. She pretty much scored them immediately.
  • Got them about 30 minutes after on sale by being persistent - something a lottery will not reward :D

    SHOW COUNT: (170) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=114, US=124, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5
    Mexico=1, Colombia=1

    I was fortunate enough to secure a pair of Vic tickets within 15 minutes once they went on sale. The decision to drive to Chicago just for the show then drive right back was a small price to pay.

    Actually, fortunate is an understatement.

    toward the end, probably the last couple hours, there was ONE pair in someone's cart who must have given up. all of us refreshing were waiting for that one pair to get kicked out. suffice it to say i and many others didn't get them.

    I did it the old fashioned way. Found someone that did not have a plus one and offered to pay for the tix.

    I made it to the buy link but didn't think it let me have them until about 10 minutes or so later when I noticed they were sitting in my cart. Checkout was slow but was able to get them. It felt like I hit the lottery, will never forget that feeling. What a gift Pearl Jam and the 10club gave me!!!!

    The word in the line was that tickets (braclets) were going for up to 8 thousand apiece.

    People were walking around holding up signs offering sex for a ticket. :roll:

    Who here remembers the theaters security guy from hell who stalked up and down the line? :lol:

    I think I remember the security guard asking us to stand/sit closer to the venue's wall as opposed to right on the sidewalk and/or roaming around on the side street. I also remember Santos walking through the line with his clipboard as he was checking IDs against the master will-call list and having his 10C assistant hand out the wristbands.

    getting tickets was probably one of the more stressful hours of my life. even called the 10 club about 10 minutes in when the ticket link didnt pop up, and they said it was sold out. luckily, they were wrong and was able to get through eventually.

    im pretty sure i have a pic of that security guard somewhere. i seem to remember a sweet mullet and brightly colored shirt

    I was in and out with tickets in less than 5 minutes. No refreshing, no getting kicked out of the system. I don't know how, but I have been pretty lucky with these ticket fiascos.
