Was wondering if they have ever rocked "Present Tense" to start a show?? I have no problem in anyway at all the way the band starts things but think this would be insane!!! What a way to welcome everyone to the show, but give that sense of urgency of things to come. Please get back to me if you have any information if this has ever happened :D

I received a Thunder Bay '05 poster the other week and at the weekend I thought I would look at the setlist. My jaw dropped when I saw that Present Tense opens the set!!! This was something I'd always wondered!!! I've not listened to any '05 shows before but intend too this week :D

The Borgata Shows were unreal. The first night the opener was Long Road and then the slow porch intro. When Porch picked up the place fucking exploded, its def. a highlight of my PJ show experiences... Plus I saw Mike, Jeff, Matt, and Boom around the casino over the course of the two days and Bob Saget stood by my for a brief period during night 2 I believe. I also got into night one for free (thats back when I was a sneaky kid :shh:)..
I'm gone ..Long gone..This time I'm letting go of it all...So long...Cause this time I'm gone

Was at Thunder Bay '05, it was amazing. And PT - couldn't ask for a better opening song! (Besides release, long road, oceans :)

I think it should be used more. I was at the St. Louis 03 show and it was the perfect start to a really interesting setlist.

Seems like they started one of their longer TV performances with it, but I can't find anything.

Dammit. This just made me realize I was at the St. Louis show in 03 but missed Present Tense due to my highschool demanding I attend a freaking drug clinic that night for smoking freaking pot. I got there just in time to see Animal but now I realize it would've been amazing to actually see them open with Present Tense. Fuckin highschool!!!

Haha...Shitty....Ironically enough, by PJ opening with Present Tense they were demanding that I light up joint at that very moment.

Damn, that sucks and I'm sorry to bring up crappy memories caused by the man. I missed half the opening Kings of Leon set at the 2008 Virginia Beach show because my friends and I (all of legal age) were getting shaken down for having a case of beer in the venue parking lot. Looks like I'll have to see you there the next time they open with it ;)
