Frame Shop Recommendations - Central Illinois

Can anyone provide me with some recommendations for a framer? I'm looking for a reputable independent shop that I can trust with my high-end/expensive older Pearl Jam posters. I'm in Central Illinois and the shop that I used to use is no longer in business.

Anyone have any recommendations or referrals for me?

I always use the Hoff for my PJ framing. I think his work is awesome and I trust him with my favorite prints.

I think he said he was going to be doing another framing special in the very near future.

I've seen his work but I want to stay local. I don't want to send my posters through the mail. I have way too much time and money invested in them. Plus I like to work with the framer in person so I know exactly what I'm getting and that the colors are exactly what I want.

Anyone in Central Illinois that people have used with success?

I just wanted to share this... I know you're looking for a local shop....Good Luck to you..

I got a 70 year old man who does my framing. He's in Southern CA. He has a small shop out here and works with many of the local studios. I've taken him plenty of high end items through the years and everything has always come out perfect. He's a real pro and he doesn't charge an arm and a leg. If you're interested in his work let me know and I'll hook you up.

I live in Peoria and always use Frames Plus in willow knolls. I have used them for years and have done numerous PJ posters as well as Jerseys and prints that I use in my restaurant. I highly recommend them.

Is that an independent shop or a chain? I'm reluctant to use chain stores because I never know who is actually going to frame my print each time.

Its a hallmark store that is independently owned with the frame shop in the back. They do all their work in house. They do a nice job to go over your item and give you the best options. The owner of the shop is a great guy. Here is a link.
