So who here has met members of the band? I haven't, but I think it would be intresting to hear other peoples stories :)

    I guess you just have to hang around the back of the venue after every show and be patient. If you want to meet Eddie, you'll have to be REALLY patient. Apparently, he likes to take his sweet time getting back to the bus.

    I've met them all. Stone's chill. Jeff's. Ok.Matt's a great dad, met him with his kids.Mike's the coolest. And Eddie well Eddie requires patience. 1 hour and 45 minutes after his solo shows is the average. Worth every second. Eddie's the baddest but Mike's the coolest. :o I love em all !

    I met Mike in San Diego in 2003. He did a radio interview before the show across the street. Rode up on his bike with a friend. Nice guy.

    I met Eddie after San Diego 2009. He came out about 2 hours after the show. Black SUV rolls up, security steps out and says he's doesn't wanna sign anything or take any pictures with anybody. He just wants to say hello and shake everyone's hand. Are you cool with that? Sure we said, who is it??(We couldn't tell, blacked out SUV) Eddie gets out(Holy Shit!!) He's had quite a few beers and says hello to everyone, shakes everybodys hand, thanks everyone for coming out and speeds off into the night. How fucking cool is that??
    Let's see those 2013 dates in the southern states.

    Met Stone before a Brad show in 2002. Didn't really have to jump through hoops. We were just waiting in line for the club to open, at this point there were probably 15-20 people there. Their bus was parked right in front the whole time, and they came out and went in through the front door. Everybody but Shawn stopped and talked to the people in line, said hello and shook some hands. Regan gave out stickers. It wasn't that Shawn didn't stop to talk, I think he was already inside, because he didn't come from the bus with the others.

We waited after the show as well but about 2 hours after it finished he came out a different exit so all we saw was when the SUV came around the corner & went off into the night. Anyway it was a fab end to my Oz tour. :)

    Talked with Stone for about 20 minutes before a Brad show in Margaret River back in 02' - Cool guy. Very easy to talk to. Just a regular dude. Met him again - but briefly before a Brad show in St.Louis in 10' - again very cool.

    I have shaken Ed's hand (after NYC 1 this past June) but got to actually meet Mike after the Tres Mts NYC show last March. He couldn't have been a nicer guy! It's really freaking cool when you realize that one of your heroes happens to be just as nice and awesome as you thought he'd be. :)

    Has anyone here met the band on a "hangout" level? The 20 mins with Stone seems to be the closest here. But i mean a decent meeting where there's a good chance they'll remember you if you ran into them again.

    Back in 2008, my wife and I were visiting friends in New York & attending the Pearl Jam shows. During the day before the show my wife and I hopped on the subway. The subway car was pretty empty and the next thing I know Matt Cameron gets on with his kids and is standing just on the other side of the subway car from my wife and I. I wanted to say something, but also didn't want to bother him because he had his kids with him. So, I kept my mouth shut. I think he could tell I was a fan because I was telling my wife who it was (and probably staring). He looked and smiled but neither of us said anything. It was a cool experience.
