Any long distance runners out there? I'm training for my 1st marathon and am in need of some kick ass running song sugestions. Help a girl out.

Just be careful on a couple points-
First- please be careful if you listen while you train outdoors. Dangerous as I'm sure you can imagine.
Second- If you're planning on going out and having fun play whatever feels right. Something upbeat usually works. If, however, you are planning on finishing in a set time you should probably avoid listening to anything while you run. The problem is some songs will make you run faster than you should for a race of that distance. A marathon is all about pace and if you run too fast a pace at first you may have a hard time finishing.
I used to run with Pearl Jam all the time but I found it hard to keep my cadence right.
Good luck. Programs are over rated, let your body be your guide, don't overtrain to avoid injury.0 -

Hmmm, something to ponder. I cant imagine running without my music. Thanks for the advice. I'll take anything I can get.
