in my experince a good poker room will usually honor that request, they dont care who is at the table as long as they get the rake

even if it's a bunch of low rolling, beer swilling PJ fans?

absolutely... the poker rooms usually make the same rake no matter the stakes... if they have an open table and a free dealer in rotation they will usually do it. if we could make it happen it would be a blast... i will be playing poker every day no matter what

and we could swap stories about that VIC show we were both at
  • I will be there for both nights

My name is Marshall, I will be coming from Toronto.

May have an extra ticket for the 11th if someone has one for the 10th.

Let me know. Thank you and see you there.

Ohh I would much rather liquor in the front and poker in the rear, but thats just me.

Cashed a little bit. Finished one spot after Shannon Elizabeth in one of the tournaments. She's good people, and a pretty good player.

    count me in!!!

flying in solo from Delaware... first time in veags... staying the entire week... i am single, no kids, and disease free ladies

thinking of staying at the rio suites with a great deal, or at harrahs, can any vegas people provide me any intel on the rio, harrahs, or other options? thanks!

    see you fuckers there
The Rio is not bad, outdated a bit, but the rooms are big. Yes its a short walk from Palms or Strip. Harrahs is OK also, right in the center section of the Strip. Its a longer walk to Palms of course. If the Palms deal for 70$ is still available I would do that instead.

I booked 3 nights (Tues - Friday ) at the RIO!!!

It's a short walk to The Palms and HOTWIRE has a GREAT DEAL!!

    Got a room for $39.00 a night...with taxes it's only $132.24 for 3 nights!!! :ugeek:

I agree, and so, would try the Palms first if you guys are interested. Their poker room is small and I'm sure they'd accommodate you guys. If not, you could fill most of the table and play with a few other non-PJ/Ed partiers.

limit or no limit is fine with me, smaller stakes would keep it friendly and we could booze it up if thats your thing...

    just an idea

I loved loved playing at The Sahara. The people that worked at that casino were so down to Earth and fun to be around. They used to serve finger sandwiches during the first break of a poker tournament.

    RIP Sahara :(

I hear ya. That was a cool joint with a ton of history. They had $1 blackjack. You could sit for a couple hours, get demolished, and still be either up or down 20 bones.

I heart Vegas. My fav... Slots of fun. I think I got a daiquiri for 50 cents.
Feel the sky blanket you with gems and rhinestones...
  • We'll be there on the 11th only (won tix in the lottery, a little disappointed the 2nd show ends up being the first show, but I'm not getting greedy and searching for tix to the new first show - don't want to press my luck).
    Coming from Vancouver, BC.
    + husband

anyone dorky enough to want to do the Area 51 tour on the 10th or 12th? They usually only do the tour on Wednesdays and there's no way I'm going on the same day as the show - if we get 4-8 people they'll do it on the 10th or 12th.

    There's an Area 51 tour? :o
  • Yeah it's not cheap and it's basically the whole day, but I don't care cause I've been to Vegas before so I think I want to see some other stuff this time - and we're not "club" people so...
or we might do a Death Valley tour instead but I'd rather do Area 51.
