Why is that? I feel like most of the songs we call our favorite's aren't the most popular choices to play live...

What songs you talking about? I think most of the songs are covered and Eddie already has to memorize over 200 songs covers included. Never mind trying to remember solo and new material. I know hes a God but even God's have there limits :D

    ***Side Note****

When I say hes a God Im saying hes a God at his craft. ;)

I see what your saying. But I guess it all comes down to what the guys are most comfortable playing. Whos in the crowed and requested what. You know important things like that. Its what makes us all get along and swap stories before the show about songs we wished we heard and the lucky ones we did :D

Because the setlists vary so much from night to night, it obviously reduces the amount of times each song is played. Obviously the "Even Flows, Alives, Ledbetters, Daughters" coupled with songs from a new album will take up a good % of the setlist. Therefore, in a 28 song set, only 14-15 songs may be truely rotated. And yes, Binural does get less play than others.

**Please take into account I have no reasearched how much of each show is taken up by new album songs, and which are the top 5 songs played most nights. My % may be off, but please understand my logic.

****I love the fact that each night is different. It took me 13 years between hearing Nothingman for the first and second time. Gosh darn did I appreciate it more than hearing it once every 3rd show.

And I hope it always stays this way.

A true fan you are :D

Reminds me of being at PJ20 the first night. It was raining hard and I was under the pavilion and these 2 younger girsl (about 16) were talking about PJ songs. I asked what they wanted to hear and one said I will go nuts and die if they play Education. I said I would love for it to be played but there is a very small chance.

Well ironicaly the girls were seated in the row a head of me. Education was played. When the first riffs were played I seen them go nuts. It was awesome to see. SHe didnt die Im glad to report :D

I'd be made up with a setlist mostly containing No Code, Binaural and Riot Act but I would imagine I'd be in the minority.

My favourite gig was London '07 when they dropped the main songs and played alot of rarities. As much as I love Even Flow, Alive, RVM, Small Town, Betterman etc I'd prefer to have the likes of Sleight Of Hand, In My Tree, Red Mosquito, Half Full, Help Help and some Lost Dogs just for one night!

Off He Goes is considered rare? According to the PJStatTracker it's bee played in 20% of the shows since it's debut. I've seen it played 17.39% of the time at shows I've been to. I don't really consider 1 in 5 shows (roughly) rare. Just my opinion.

Its the 4th most played live song from No Code after Hail Hail, Lukin and Present Tense. I consider it a rare-ish one and in 6 shows I've been they've never played it.

Honestly those are my favorite moments. Seeing people hear a song they never have and watching them go nuts. It's the way I will feel when I hear Garden for the first time. After seeing them 24 times since 1992 it's hard to believe that this is the only song I still haven't heard off of Ten while most are still awaiting Oceans.

Chasing the rarities is a big part of the fun. Nothing better than being able to cross a special one off your list.

Well, I've been to 12 shows, and have yet to see my personal favorite, Low Light.

But in regards to the original poster, I have 5 songs on Binaural left, Gods Dice (played 10 times since 2006), Thin Air (4 times since 2003, none since 2008), Of The Girl (5 times since 2003), Rival (2 times since 2003) and Parting Ways (4 times since 2003). So yeah, it can be hard to see those songs that sort of get left behind unless you get really lucky.
words seem so out of place.
