  • I'm going to both shows! So f#@ken excited right now! It's been so long! Maybe this will break the drought and we'll see them more often downunder. My phone has been off the hook this morning. My family and friends have seen the significance of this announcement for me. They are excited for me. Stoked!

Also intending to see both shows. Have even booked tickets down to Christchurch on the Sunday morning already!
  • I'm so stoked I was a little upset that I found out everything through stuff and not through 10C as an official member and now I see presales are happening on 12 August. 10C better be doing something before then or I'll be reconsidering my membership (empty threat).

Anyway any Jammers from Wellington interested in forming a band? I need a drummer and a bassist. Send me a private message.

  • Aloha,

My wife and I are planning our first trip to New Zealand from Hawaii and want to hit one of the PJ shows, but we have no idea what the the fan base is like. Can u guys give us some advice for either show, I think right now Im leaning toward South Island, will it sell out, looks to be a large venue. Guess what Im asking is can i hold off on buying tickets, or will it sell out cause so few shows come down that way? My buddy say he hopes u like his recordings of the Eddie Honolulu shows :)

They are pretty big venues and I don't think they'll sell out super quick. However, not sure how big the front GA section will be. They may sell out quicker. To give you an idea, last time they were here in 1998 they played the same venue in Auckland and a small indoor venue in Wellington. I don't think the Auckland show sold out. In fact there were two dates on the poster for Auckland, but they only played one.

Are they more popular now than they were in 1998? Maybe. I suppose they have all the people that were fans then plus new fans since then? I guess you've missed out on 10C tickets, or do you want seats? The good seats would get snapped up pretty fast.

Looks like I may have underestimated demand!

Pretty sure 10C will be front GA and it's early entry, of course!

I play bass, but unless your band is super-cool, I probably wouldn't consider relocating to Wellington...

Glad to hear it. I really should get onto that. Unfortunately, my poster has corner dings and an ink imperfection. D'oh!
