I've been listening to Glen's music for over a decade.....

he has an amazing voice, deep lyrics & he can play the living hell out of any guitar. we'd seen him play 4-5 times before we saw him at PJ20....and the fact that he was on the lineup was a pleasant surprise.

so excited to see & hear him open for Eddie...

    is it April yet?
    I LOVE MUSIC.

I really dont understand how you cant like Hansard. Excellent guitar player, song writer and singer as well.
I've almost enjoyed him more than Vedder at some of these shows. When they both sing together it is awesome.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

You're all gonna be mortified when you hear Lee Mead's cover of Falling Slowly.
He's some West End Musical type that feigns emotion at whichever camera's nearest and he's just put out an album of covers,....one of which is Falling Slowly.

    It's all very upsetting.

I will also back the others and say DON'T MISS GLEN! His performance is awesome. Several of my friends who never heard of him thought he was amazing opening for Ed and on the side stage at Alpine Valley.
  • "Falling Slowly" was excellent & "Long Nights" w/ Ed and Glen was spectacular :D

Ed singing "and you have suffered enough, and warred with yourself"..... always brings chills.

Glen Hansard is a phenomenal musician that has a way of making you feel every emotion he is feeling when he performs...
