Watching this again it gets better every time. I know many have asked what a solo Eddie Concert is like. If you haven't seen him yet, and want an appreciation of the dynamic behind his solo tour, buy this DVD! The way he captures the crowd in his solo shows is a thing of brilliance. Congrats to everyone that won tickets to the tour see you in FT. Lauderdale!

And to those who didn't win, Ticketmaster! and if that fails there's enough amazing people on these boards to help you out. Got a last minute seat to both NYC shows last years because of some really cool people on here.

    After finding out I had tickets to Austin, I also watched Water on the Road, just out of pure excitement. Man, EV that weekend, and then Tom Petty the next weekend (and we should be in the first 10 rows for that show). It's going to be a good couple of weeks.

    It's super awesome...a must have for any PJ/EV fan!!! I'm going to watch mine again on Friday night in celebration for the FT Laud show...I saw someone else post the same - made me smile.

    I watched it again last weekend, amazing stuff, last weekend I realised that on Water on the road was available Unthought known, that was previous to Backspacer, though WOTR was released about 2 years later... that was amazing, everything, the crowd was awesome as well, pretty cute girls on the front row by the way, but most important, the track list is amazing, PJ stuff, ITW stuff, songs that later appeared on Ukulele songs, thanks Mike there is such a DVD, EV is quite unlikely to tour my country ever...
    ... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...

    love this dvd. :mrgreen: Man, can Ed cover Bob Dylan. I think he does a great job. Love Bob's originals too. The whole dvd is amazing. :mrgreen:

    yes, indeed. enjoy the dvd my friend. It pretty much gives a feel for what an EV solo show is like. :mrgreen:

    I have some H20 on the Rd. promotional posters that I pulled off the street at the EV Hartford show last summer, they're not in perfect condition b/c they were taped to mailboxs & fences around the city, but if anyone is interested in one shoot me a PM and I'll mail one out to you.
