I have to wait until the public sale for EV as I may not be able to make it south this spring. At least I can sell them if plans fail, I can't do that with 10c as I wont be there to pick them up :( Anyway, Ticketmaster are not on sale yet for Fort Lauderdale, but out of curiosity I went to Stub Hub and was shocked to see tix for sale at all the venues...even those which are not public yet! No, I'm not buying those tickets, but am just shocked and wonder how they got there. :o

    Two reasons:

1)Season tickets holders or those who have donated to these venues either already own those seats and therefore will have those tickets for the shows, or were given the ability to buy them before the public sale.

2)If you notice the tickets are in general areas of the venue and not specific seats, then those are tickets the scalpers/brokers are planning on be able to purchase when tickets go on sale.

well, here is the thing. There are likely Ten Club members who were notified today in there as well. However, BEWARE these folks. the Ten Club system is by will call only. This means, dude could only sell his plus one.

meaning, only I can pick up my tickets in New Mexico. No one else, because it was my credit card, and they will ask for my ID. Also, last time I saw them in New Mex (drove down from Denver on the BiNaural tour, I think) the guy walked us to our seats... physically stayed with us the whole time. I could not have sold my team. Of course, I didn't want to... my ten club seats got me and the wifey second row center.

waiting for onsale is futile, though. You won't get tickets. It's impossible because of the the bots that scalpers have. These are small venues, and after ten club hold backs and season ticket holders... each venue may have about 500 seats each.

So, if you aren't ten club, how can you go without paying $200 a seat? You need the pre-sale code. Every venue does a pre-sale. You MUST get a hold of that code. Some places sell them, some give them away. An perfect example is when Elton John just played Denver. It was a very small venue, and it was just Elton solo (which he doesn't normally do ever for some reason) and he was playing only #1 hits. Think the public has a shot at those seats? No way in hell! I found a guy who sold me the pre-sale code for $5 and I got my tix. The show sold out in under 30 seconds when it went on sale, and scalpers got them all.

So, get your google on... because the odds are stacked against you with Ticketbastard. They also do a pre-sale for all ticketbastard employees ten minutes before public onsale. So... what is left for us mouth breathers is bubkiss nada.

does that help? Hope you make it, there has never been a tour like this. So, don't miss it... even if you do have to pay scalper prices of $200 a pop (current asking price around the web)... I would pay it to see this tour.

  • not from the venue. You need to find a site that does it for a living. Like I said, i googled

    https://www.google.com/search?q=concert ... =firefox-a

also, the local clear channel rock outlet will likely have a 'members only' pre-sale. Those are decently reliable as well... and all you need to join is giving them your email addy.

and tix are now up to $300 each around the web, because this tour has never happened. It will be rad!

This is completely wack information. There will not be presales for all venues if any venues. You will not find fan club tickets on Stubhub because Stubhub does not allow for willcall tickets. They have a last minute ticket service, but willcall tickets cannot be sold on stubhub. Don't pay money for a "presale code". If there is a presale, the password will be available for free. Some of these venues are Live Nation venues. If the presale is a live nation presale - the password will most likely be "singer" but I doubt there are going to be presales. And do you really think you are out-smarting the scalpers by buying a presale code? You are probably buying the code from a scalper who is padding his/her wallet.

To the OP - As far as "being shocked" to see tickets already on Stubhub....well, you must be new at this. No disrespect, but this has been the case for a very long time.

"These are small venues, and after ten club hold backs and season ticket holders... each venue may have about 500 seats each" - Where are you getting this information? Ten Club averages about 10%-15% of the venue. Season ticket holders make up 15% or less of the venue and most of those peopel are not going to buy tickets to these shows. I'm not saying tickets are going to be easy to get, but you are spewing a bunch of mis-information here.

  • I have to agree with P-Town here. Not that they won't sell out rather quickly of course. And besides the 10 club pre-sale, I really don't think that there's any other pre-sale at all for this current Ed tour. Anyone know differently? Also, what's with the season ticket holders, as I'm not so sure that any of these smaller venues offer season tickets? Anyone able to prove me wrong that any of these chosen venues for Ed actually ever offer a season ticket package? I think those are more for bigger outdoor venues. I've yet to hear of a smaller venue like the ones Ed has chosen, to offer season tickets. Any real proof out there that they do?

Plus "this tour has never happened"?

Thanks for all the info...I am 'new' to the whole 10c stuff not going to concerts. Wished I could have tried my luck in the lottery but couldn't commit. I know I will try other ways but I am not paying stupid prices even for EV as I can't. I'll keep my fingers crossed and eyes peeled for something reasonable. :D

There are season ticket holders, because these venues have shows like opera's and ballets, and the old people down here get a kick out of it. There are also the people who donate large amounts of money to "own" seats outright, sometimes they even have thier names on them.

Real proof though. Which ones? Kind of sounds like you're just guessing or saying that. Of course they have other shows, but what real proof do you have that there are season tickets. Which venues on Ed's tour can you truthfully say have season tickets?
