This is fucking batshit insanity.

But now under the video it says that after the ole'ole'ole's they then start chanting\singing "Everyday I love you more, Pearl Jam is a feeling I can not stop" ...

... can someone please tell me where this came from, why these people knew to sing it like that, and what cultural significance the phrase may have had (minus the pearl jam bit?) before being used here?

They just came up with this shit or it's an Argentina thing?

PS - PJ come to the REAL SOUTH please ... we will be this good!

I'm Argentinian, that is a common chant, I don't know where it comes from, I'm sure there is a song from which football (what you call "soccer") fans chant at football matches... it all started there, at football matches, the football fans take up popular songs, no matter what is the music genre, and they transform the lyrics, create new lyrics to chant and cheer when supporting their team at a football match...

What you can watch from that video is what you have already guessed, those football chants are dated from long ago, early 80's, and in the late 80's and the beginning of the 90's those chants were common at rock concerts as well; the reason why people chant like that is based on a popular song, but I cannot tell you which one because I don't know it, or I don't remember it at this moment; the cultural significance you were asking about is related to the passion, excitement, thrill, etc those people are feeling in that moment, in this case, Argentinians fans (and fans of other nationalities) expressing their fandom to PJ, however, you can gather footage from youtube about Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Ramones, or any band you want, and you will find the same chants, even with local bands you may find this kind of chants at concerts, that's why every band is amazed about latin american audiences... Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Bolivia... we are a huge country, there isn't much differences amongs us, and when it comes to football or rock concerts, we are very passionate...
