Opening Night! Is there a more fitting name for a EV show than "The Pearl"? Great venue , unbelievable sound, not a bad seat in the building. Now all I need is my email.

    Indeed! Coolest venue I have ever been to. Saw Cornell there in '07. Awesome place. I always though PJ should do two nights there on one of their tours... Tool has done it! Hopefully he'll love it and bring the whole band back! Have fun!

    I've never been to The Pearl but I saw some pictures and it looks gorgeous! I put myself in the lottery for that show. :D

    And I agree...it sucks that it's on a Wednesday..so might as well make it a vacation week!

    Agree mid-week is bad,but maybe it will keep the competition for tix down.
    Otherwise it would be crazy. Plus Vegas hotels are cheaper then.

    Hmmm....Flights are only $34 each way out of LAX right now. Very tempting.

    Hell yeah! Fewer out of towners trying for tickets, and the hotels are cheap. I suggest the Mandalay Bay, they always have great rooms there for cheap during the week. ;)

    Southwest web only "wanna get away fares" right now. I'm super tempted because it's cheap and I could stay with my cousin who lives in Vegas but it's mid week which is tough and I'm planning on going to Coachella that Friday already.

    Vegas tickets do seem like they might be hard to get. The furthest I've sat at PJ shows in the past was at Vegas because there were so many fan club members going. But it's worth the try, cause the Pearl will not disappoint!

    And 1 week ago I booked my Vegas trip from April 14-18.

    This is a distant second to booking a trip to Boston and the '09 tour being announced a week later. Wouldn't ya know I was 5 days shy of a show at the Garden.

    I saw Steely Dan at the Pearl a few months ago... One of the coolest venues on the planet! Great sound! I'd go back to the Pearl in a heartbeat to see almost anything!
