    I mean, that makes sense -- but still, and official explanation as to the "why" would be nice, especially since it's such a departure from the norm.

    I hope something is released. I'm a working class father stuck in Alabama -- there was no way i could make it to the West Coast for something that i knew would be unbelievably amazing -- so to be able to get some semblance of the moment would be nice.

    But this seemingly radical alteration of policy with not so much as a "here's why, guys ..." seems bizarre.

    Exactly. Not only was there no explanation, there was a threat. Great communication skills. "The policy has changed. Violate it and you'll be escorted out." Awesome.
