Yield, it was love at first sight. When I met you I thought you were absolutely stunning on the outside, with your blue sky and endless road I fell in love with you. Your beauty on the inside is what has kept me deeply in love with you for over 13 years now. I even love your family, SVT has shown me where you came from and made me appreciate you even more. I can't hide it any longer, you've pushed and pulled me over the years, and I have given my love away, but I will always be faithful ......to you. Now lay your head down tonight and make a wish, because there is no leaving here. You have done enough, you cute furry little thing.

    Nice Post. You know you love a recording when every other word out of your mouth is a quote from it. It has obviously permeated your senses which is good. I think a lot of people feel similar about Yield. I have a huge Yield poster framed and hung on my wall in honor of it.

    During my trip to LA, I must have taken a dozen pictures of Yield signs, as we don't have them in the UK. :lol:

    It sure has made me notice more yield signs since. That's for sure.

    My favorite, too! In fact, have a full size sign in my garage. Try explaining that to your better half! Honey, I really, really, really like this album so I bought a street sign. Just see the look you get in response. :lol:

    Often when someone says to me that they dig music but never really "got into" Pearl Jam or fell of after TEN I don't burn them a mix disc of PearlJam I just go out and buy them a copy of YIELD - I tell them listen to it twice all the way through with out skipping a track them tell me what they think
    Mostly always the same answer and the best part is by their 10th time through the songs they thought they loved the most have been replaced by others from the album and by their 20th listen they flip flop and the love affair just goes from there
    The new fad of live shows playing an album from cover to cover - YIELD is the only one that would work for PEARLJAM
    It is an amazing piece of sonic emotions

    I've got a Yield sign up in my garage too! My dad got it for me for my birthday!

    In fact, he gave me the idea for my license plate frame. The top says "YIELD" and the bottom says "PEARL JAM FAN."

    I became a fan in 1998 when I was 14. "Yield" was the second Pearl Jam album I got, after "Ten."
