I want an opinion from someone who has the boots, but WAS NOT at the shows.
I'm thinking about buying them, but the setlists don't look much different from the Chicago and Boston shows which I have.
How was the energy?
How is the mix and sound???

i gotta say i love the 2 of them
Gorge 1 is better briliant version of Daughter/its ok (not as good as cleveland though) ,Crown of thorns and go
Gorge 2 has deadly versions of in hiding, and betterman.
Not the best boots of the tour but in my top 10
Energy is brilliant on night 1 ,night 2 is a little lower but still amazing.
and the sound is amazing (i'm listening to them on mp3 fyi)0 -

the sound quality is supurb, probably the best quality boot ive heard from this tour

I can assure you the sound quality is far superior its like chalk and cheese.
You won't be disapointted0 -
the boot quality for both gorge shows are great, so is the quality of SF 3, I am assumming the rest of SF sounds good but dont know. If anyone has San diego or Santa Barbara how do they sound on the boot? I hate it when ed sounds like he is singing behind a closed door. I have Boston1, ER and LA 1 also and the sound of Boston is shit compared to SF and Gorge. I agree with the first post you cannot hear mike and Ed sounds like shit on earlier boots. NOt sure if the band is tighter or if the boot quality is so bad earlier in the tour that it distorts the music. I also dont like LA 1 that much and dont recommend it based on sound quality. All i can say for sure is that Gorge and SF sound wise is much better then anything else this tour. I have not heard portland so i cannot speak on that boot. Feedback on the SB and SD boot quality in comparison to gorge and SF would be appreciated0

I'm debating on buying the Gorge shows, but only if the sound is "good", hopefully better than the '05 Gorge show.. I wish we could sample these boots before we buy them. I only want to buy a few boots from each tour, but the choices are tough. :(
yeah you can hear mike and ed perfectly, i know what you mean though
probably the best sounding boots ive heard from 2005 and 20062003: Uniondale, MSG x2 | 2004: Reading | 2005: Gorge, Vancouver, Philly | 2006: East Rutherford x2, Gorge x2, Camden 1, Hartford | 2008: MSG x2, VA Beach | 2009: Philly x3 | 2010: MSG x2, Bristow | 2011: Alpine Valley x2 | 2012: MIA Philly | 2013: Wrigley, Charlottesville, Brooklyn 2 | 2014: Milan, Amsterdam 1 | 2016: MSG x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley 2 | 2018: Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Wrigley 2 | 2021: Sea Hear Now | 2022: San Diego, LA x2, MSG, Camden, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver | 2023: St. Paul 1, Chicago x2, Fort Worth x2, Austin 2 | 2024: Las Vegas 1, Seattle x2, Indy, MSG x2, Philly x2, Baltimore, Ohana 2 | 2025: Florida x2, Atlanta x2, Pittsburgh x20 -

the santa barbara boot isn't the best i've heard (personally i used to think it was because of being outdoors but then the gorge came along) i can't put my finger on what it is though there is just something wrong with it. But its my 2nd favourite boot of the series because of the setlist and performance.
the San Diego boot is not as good as the SF shows but only maybe 5% worse (if that)0 -

They didn't cut the crowd. We were all just to hot and exhausted to cheer. In between the encores it sounded like a library. Once the music started the crowd was into it. But in between songs and encores we all just tried to catch our breath.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0 -
I really did want to cheer more...but by the end of night 2 I really had NOTHING left to give... I cant even imagine how the guys kept playing..."Almost unconsciously he traced with his finger in the dust on the table: 2+2=5" 19840

Yeah many of us were pretty tired, but night 2 section A had some energy, I'd like to get some audio of that if anyone was close-by recording. Would really make my G2 show complete. I was suprised it wasn't picked up by their devices, they must have been turned off.....or they were cut for length. Anyone?

I know that but I'm talking about during the songs....you can't hear us do the YEAH's during Severed Hand and other songs like In Hiding and Rats
the part when we yell SHUT YO MOUTH during Dirty Frank is barely heard...
but yeah quality wise, the best boots ive heard2003: Uniondale, MSG x2 | 2004: Reading | 2005: Gorge, Vancouver, Philly | 2006: East Rutherford x2, Gorge x2, Camden 1, Hartford | 2008: MSG x2, VA Beach | 2009: Philly x3 | 2010: MSG x2, Bristow | 2011: Alpine Valley x2 | 2012: MIA Philly | 2013: Wrigley, Charlottesville, Brooklyn 2 | 2014: Milan, Amsterdam 1 | 2016: MSG x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley 2 | 2018: Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Wrigley 2 | 2021: Sea Hear Now | 2022: San Diego, LA x2, MSG, Camden, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver | 2023: St. Paul 1, Chicago x2, Fort Worth x2, Austin 2 | 2024: Las Vegas 1, Seattle x2, Indy, MSG x2, Philly x2, Baltimore, Ohana 2 | 2025: Florida x2, Atlanta x2, Pittsburgh x20
