Manchester UK Hotel Question:

We found a few reasonable rates the Mint Hotel, as well as The MacDonald Hotel (no, its not related to the hamburgers!).

We have stayed at the Renaissance before, but are hoping to stay elsewhere this time.

Does anybody have any opinions on either?

    I'll be back at The Park this year.

    Right next to the venue and 5 minutes to the bars at the printworks

    I quite often stay at the Mint Hotel, I love it there. The staff are great, the rooms are lovely, there are Mac entertainment systems and free net access in the rooms too.
    It's an easy walk to the venue.

    Yes, 5 to 10 minutes from the hotel
    I stayed there in 2009 when seeing PJ
