Gently Weep

With certainty of mothers' love,
the joy of knowing such,
I slip in beside my baby girl
to feel her baby touch.
Her sleeping, dreaming, honest breaths,
Her hand upon my face,
My arms to pull her close to me;
unbreakable embrace.
White moonlight skims across her skin,
She smiles while deep in sleep,
Love lays like gold within my heart,
I am still, but gently weep.
the joy of knowing such,
I slip in beside my baby girl
to feel her baby touch.
Her sleeping, dreaming, honest breaths,
Her hand upon my face,
My arms to pull her close to me;
unbreakable embrace.
White moonlight skims across her skin,
She smiles while deep in sleep,
Love lays like gold within my heart,
I am still, but gently weep.

Thanks. I don't often write in metered rhyme, but once in a while it's fun. I find it a bit of a challenge.0
