Band Reading List

The only thing I've read that was directly recommended by the band is Ishmael. I enjoyed it and a couple of others by Quinn, so I am looking for other books that band members have mentioned to add to my own reading. I know there are a few great pieces done about the band, but I am not looking for texts whose topic is Pearl Jam, but books that have been important in some way to the band or its members.
Thanks,
T

there's a lot of zinn, books he released decades of them, assuming you mean either
A people's history of the United States
or
You Can't be neutral on a moving train
but if you get a chance check out his Vietnam: the logic of Withdrawal, written at the time, really great from a now we know he was right perspectiveI don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!0 -
Looks like I have some books to check out. I have "People's History..." but haven't read it yet. Will probably good for next summer or to start before the spring semester starts.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll start checking to see what I can put on hold at my local library.0

I've wanted to read Bukowski for the longest time. I'll definitely check those two books out.peacefrompaul wrote:Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford
