Band Reading List

The only thing I've read that was directly recommended by the band is Ishmael. I enjoyed it and a couple of others by Quinn, so I am looking for other books that band members have mentioned to add to my own reading. I know there are a few great pieces done about the band, but I am not looking for texts whose topic is Pearl Jam, but books that have been important in some way to the band or its members.

    there's a lot of zinn, books he released decades of them, assuming you mean either
    A people's history of the United States
    or
    You Can't be neutral on a moving train
    but if you get a chance check out his Vietnam: the logic of Withdrawal, written at the time, really great from a now we know he was right perspective
    I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

    Looks like I have some books to check out. I have "People's History..." but haven't read it yet. Will probably good for next summer or to start before the spring semester starts.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I'll start checking to see what I can put on hold at my local library.

    Read segments of the last one for an English class focused on Vietnam.
