PJ and Super Bowl

Ok, here is a story/rumor for ya. I live in Indiana, the Super Bowl in 2012 will be in Indy. My wife and I were at the store the other night and I was wearing my 98 tour gorilla t shirt. This little guy notices it, he says in very thick east coast accent, very Joe Pesci, "Pearl Jam, huh?". I just looked at him and smiled and went on with my business, 10 seconds later he says to me, "You know I heard from a very good source, that the week of the Super Bowl, Pearl Jam will be in Indy and are supposed to play a set at the Slippery Noodle. Just thought you would like some insider information. Have a good Xmas." And walked away.

I looked at my wife and just laughed and was like whatever. But then as we walked thru the grocery store, I thought what if this dude does know something or somebody.

I have mixed feelings. Anytime i can see pj, thats cool, but bands playing events like the sb feel like castrated in a way. Pj would dedinatly feel that way playing the sb with all those fake ass minions with glow sticks jumping around. The only solution i see is to let 10c members be on the field...

I don't think he meant AT the Super Bowl, just in Indy the week of. Madonna has been confirmed as the half-time performer for like 2 months now.

Well, I live 5 miles west of downtown Indy, so I'll keep everyone updated if I hear any confirmation.

The Noodle is cool though. Can't even imagine PJ jammed in that small bar.
